Mapfre Re profits rise 12.5% to EUR36.5mn due to fewer large claims

Mapfre Re’s net profits for the first quarter of the year increased by 12.5% to EUR36.5mn ($38.3mn), versus profits of EUR32.4mn for the same period of 2021, due to the absence of “relevant events” and a reduction of large losses.
