The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has appointed Alan Vallance as its new CEO, where he will be tasked with taking forward the CII board’s “refreshed” strategy and next five-year plan.

Vallance is currently CEO of the Royal Institute of British Architects (Riba), where he has been CEO for the past six years.
