QBE has appointed Beatriz Valenti from Zurich to work as director of insurance for QBE Europe, as the Australian carrier pushes ahead with its European expansion plans.

She replaces Andrea Brock, who has been working as interim Europe executive director, and will resume her previous position as general manager of QBE’s German operation following Valenti’s arrival in June.
