Extinction Rebellion activists have blocked the entrance to the Lloyd's building with the aim of closing the Corporation for the day and demanding it stop insuring fossil-fuel projects.

Protestors used superglue, chains and bike locks to obstruct more than 25 entrances, while climbers scaled the outside of the iconic building, dropping two banners reading 'End Fossil Fuels Now' and 'Insure Climate Justice'.
