Aon Netherlands has hired Maarten Ackermans, previously the head of Willis Re’s Dutch office, as a senior broker in the non-life treaty team.

Ackermans worked for Willis Re for 12 years, spending four in London. Willis Re transferred to AJ Gallagher’s ownership on 1 December last year after Aon’s attempted takeover of WTW collapsed.
