Generali rebels ready for legal action if they lose AGM vote by small margin

Claudio Costamagna, the rebel candidate for the Generali chairman role, has said he and other rebels are prepared to take legal action if they lose their takeover bid by a narrow margin.

In an interview with Reuters, Costamagna said he and fellow rebel Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone – and Generali’s second-largest shareholder – could challenge the outcome of the board vote on 29 April if they lose by less than 6%.
