Brickell PC Insurance Holdings has agreed to acquire the entire issued ordinary share capital of Randall & Quilter (R&Q) for £482mn ($632.4mn), as well as provide $100mn of new equity funding to the business.

Brickell – the insurance arm of Miami-based investment firm 777 Partners, run by chairman Steven Pasko – is to pay 175p per share.
