CFC Syndicate 1988 reported a combined ratio of 103.4% in its first year of operation, the best underwriting result among a cohort of new businesses in the Lloyd’s market.

The syndicate was established in July of last year to provide capacity to CFC Underwriting facilities, predominantly cyber-focused business.
