Perils pegs loss from February European windstorms at EUR3.3bn

The windstorms that blew through Europe in mid-February are expected to result in claims totalling EUR3.3bn ($3.7bn), according to an initial estimate from loss aggregator Perils.

The storms affected Continental Europe and the British Isles on 16-21 February and included the storms dubbed Dudley and Eunice by the UK Met Office.
