Terrorism reinsurer Pool Re has appointed Tom Clementi, the former chief executive of MS Amlin Underwriting, as its new CEO as the organisation enters a new phase following the conclusion of a Treasury review.

Currently a strategic advisor at the consultancy Lane Clark & Peacock, Clementi will take up the role on 4 April, subject to regulatory approval, and replace outgoing CEO Julian Enoizi who has held the position since 2013.
