Parametric products are set to expand far beyond their current market usage and could become present in every class of business in the years to come, according to panellists speaking at the InsurTech Insights conference.

On the first of the two-day event, a panel drawn from Axa Climate, Element Insurance AG, FloodFlash and Descartes Underwriting explored the potential for the sensor-technology powered product to expand in the near future.
