Moscow has drafted a law which would prevent Russian airlines from returning around $10bn of leased jets, according to media reports, as the London aviation market watches closely for news of any confiscation of assets by the Russian government.

Reuters reported yesterday that under the proposed law drafted by the transport ministry, Russian airlines will pay leases in roubles throughout 2022.
