London-based InsurTech MGA Loadsure, a specialist in embedded insurance for the cargo market, has closed an $11mn Series A funding round led by MMC Ventures.

Global maritime, energy and logistics company Crowley also backed the funding round alongside Loadsure’s existing investor Insurtech Gateway, which has its own fund and incubator authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority.
