Darag Group has appointed Andrew Pryde to the new role of group chief risk officer (CRO), as the legacy carrier looks to bring in a CRO with more than a decade’s experience in the position at Beazley.

In his new role, Pryde will report to group CEO Tom Booth and will bring experience in implementing risk management, capital modelling and exposure management frameworks, as well as transactional solvency assessments to support decision-making.
