The UK High Court case between Guy Carpenter and Howden relating to the 30-person team rip last year has been dropped after the two sides sealed a confidential out-of-court settlement.  

Sources said that the terms of the settlement included a substantial cash payment from Howden and the release of the team members from their remaining obligations.
