AM Best has downgraded the outlook for the long-term issuer credit rating (ICR) of MS Amlin AG, the reinsurance arm of MS Amlin, from stable to negative.

The ratings agency said the move reflects pressure on MS Amlin AG’s adequate operating performance assessment, following “weakening underwriting performance” since 2017.
