Meyerthole Siems Kohlruss (MSK), a German actuarial firm, has suggested insured losses due to recent European windstorms could reach as much as EUR1.6bn ($1.8bn), as updated estimates point to mounting costs.

MSK estimated that recent Storm Antonia losses would amount to EUR200mn, Storm Zeynep (Eunice) EUR900mn and Storm Ylenia (Dudley) EUR500mn.
