The insurance industry needs to be aware of a new form of cyber attack, whereby the data that feeds into AI software is manipulated by organised criminals, according to an expert on the issue.

Speaking at this morning’s annual conference hosted by the Association of British Insurers (ABI), investigative journalist and broadcaster Jamie Bartlett shared his views on how organised crime syndicates are increasingly using automation for more sophisticated cyber hacks.
