More than £1bn ($1.35bn) of UK Covid-19 BI claims have now been settled in full by insurers, according to the latest monthly data from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Final settlements worth £1,007mn in aggregate have now been paid out in respect of accepted BI claims. As of 5 February, a further £308mn of interim payments had been made in respect of unsettled claims, according to data reported...
