MS Amlin’s nine-month loss almost halves as Covid impact lessens

MS Amlin reported a net loss of £120mn ($162mn) for the nine months to 30 September, a 42.6% reduction in its loss for the prior-year period, as the impact of Covid-19 lessened.

Parent company MS&AD booked a 204.6bn yen ($1.78bn) profit for its fiscal nine-month period to 31 December 2021, up 36.4%,
