Mapfre triples Q4 profits to EUR240.8mn

Mapfre more than tripled its profits in the final quarter of 2021, posting net earnings of EUR240.8mn ($276mn) in the final three months of the year.

The results at the carrier’s reinsurance unit improved during the period, with profits up 53% and non-life premium income up 4%.
