Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has appointed Paul Beattie as global head of war and terrorism, a responsibility he will be taking up in addition to his existing role at the carrier as head of underwriting, marine niche products.

Beattie is based in London and begins his new role with immediate effect, where he will be responsible for growing LSM’s book of business.
