WTW making progress in hiring after staff-retention challenges: Hess

January was the biggest month of hiring within the corporate risk and broking (CRB) segment at WTW, as the broker looks to make up for “lost time and opportunity” on staff retention, according to CEO Carl Hess.

The executive said WTW was “heading in the right direction” with its hiring strategy, which it would look to continue to execute throughout 2022.
