Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has promoted Faris Nimri to the newly created position of head of renewable energy, as the carrier looks to scale up its renewables and infrastructure portfolio.

Nimri will move to the position in mid-May, stepping up from his current role as an engineering underwriter, and will report to head of engineering and construction Manuela Baroncini.
