Chaucer has promoted Lyndsey Picton to head of its new renewable-power division as the carrier looks to provide dedicated resources to insuring new renewable technologies and aiding oil and gas clients’ move to sustainable energy production.

The energy division at Chaucer will now be split into two teams: renewable power and natural resources.

Head of renewable power Picton has been with Chaucer for 16 years underwriting upstream energy and associated construction risks.
