Descartes Underwriting has raised $120mn in a Series B funding round, which it plans to use for fresh investment in technology as it hopes to attract more corporate buyers to parametric covers.

Key investors in the InsurTech start-up include growth equity firm Highland Europe, international investment company Eurazeo and existing investors Seaya Ventures and Mundi Ventures.
