Aegis London has announced that Matthew Yeldham will succeed Alex Powell as chief underwriting officer in July, when Powell will step up to become CEO of the company.

Yeldham has worked as deputy CUO at the business since 2015, having joined Aegis London in 2010 from Aspen, where he was head of international insurance and active underwriter of Syndicate 4711.
