Aegis’ Croom-Johnson to hand reins to Powell as syndicate posts 84% COR

Aegis London CEO David Croom-Johnson will retire at the end of June, and will be succeeded by CUO Alex Powell, the company said as it reported record 2021 results.

The Lloyd’s syndicate delivered a 45% increase in profits and a combined ratio of 83.9%, as it continued a streak of profitable underwriting.
