Downstream rate decline sets in after Q4 2021 peak: Marsh

Downstream energy rates reached their upper limit in the final quarter of 2021 and are set to decline in 2022, according to Marsh.

The broker said in its quarterly energy report there was no lack of capacity for traditional downstream risks, and insurers were deploying full capacity as rates were at a high.
