InsurTech funding surpassed $15.8bn across 563 deals, more than doubling last year’s total amount raised, according to data from CB Insights and Gallagher Re.

Head of InsurTech at Gallagher Re Andrew Johnston posted the updates on LinkedIn, citing the acquisition of Willis Re as the reason for not producing a full report.
