Close to £1bn ($1.4bn) of UK Covid-19 BI claims have now been settled in full by insurers, according to the latest monthly data from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Final settlements worth £968mn in aggregate have now been paid out in respect of accepted BI claims.
