Cyber crept into first place as the highest global business risk in 2022, with 44% of respondents to Allianz’s Risk Barometer – up from 40% in 2021 – saying they were worried about cybercrime, IT failures, data breaches and fines and penalties.

Business interruption (BI) came in second at 42%, up from 41% in 2021, while natural disasters jumped three places to be ranked third, with 25% of respondents citing it as their main concern.
