‘Aggressive’ 2022 D&O premium drops expected as volatility recedes: Gallagher

The year 2022 could see “aggressive” premium reductions in D&O if insurers can close out the year without too many large losses and the pandemic does not “cause havoc” with the market, according to a report from Gallagher.

The broker said that the market was finally showing “signs of stabilisation” as insurers look to compete on programmes that experienced inflated premiums throughout the pandemic.
