Global M&A deal volume hit all-time high in 2021: Willis

Global M&A deals valued over $100mn numbered at 1,047 last year according to Willis Towers Watson, the highest level since the intermediary began its M&A analysis in 2008.

In its latest M&A report, run in partnership with the M&A Research Centre at the Bayes Business School, Willis said last year’s figure significantly beat that of 2020 when deals numbered 674.
