An awful lot can change in seven years, as Ardonagh’s refinancing announced yesterday underscores.

The deal will see Madison Dearborn Partners (MDP) and HPS reinvest in the intermediary while the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) has come on board for the first time through funds managed by the former pair.
