Specialist Risk Group (SRG) has launched an MGA called MX Underwriting that will be led by Lee Anderson, SRG’s deputy CEO, and MX chairman James Gerry, who joined SRG when the firm acquired GB Underwriting in January.

In its first year of operation, the MX Underwriting team is hoping to reach a target of £100mn ($132mn) in GWP.
