Elevated levels of inflation, cyber risk and climate change are among the most important concerns facing the non-life insurance sector, according to a report from the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (Eiopa).

In addition, the regulator said the pandemic had provided new challenges for the sector, exposing policy coverage gaps, which in turn have led to a decrease in trust of the sector and reputational damage.
