InsurTech platform Ibisa, which offers parametric-based climate insurance for farmers across Asia, has raised €1.5mn ($1.7mn) in seed funding with specialist incubator Insurtech Gateway to propel global expansion.

The funding round, led by Insurtech Gateway as it also operates as a venture fund, involved other strategic co-investors such as Rockstart’s AgriFood fund.
