Willis Towers Watson has secured the insurance placement for the first special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) to be listed on the London Stock Exchange.

The blank-cheque vehicle Hambro Perks Acquisition Company aims to raise up to £150mn ($201mn) on the public markets to target a merger with “high-performing” technology companies with values of £800mn or more.
