Mosaic Insurance has launched a syndicated programme that invites capital from commercial partners to underwrite complex specialty risks in regional markets and across the world, which the company said would provide additional capacity to clients at a time of increased demand.

Proprietary capital is deployed through Mosaic’s Lloyd’s Syndicate 1609, alongside partner capacity contributed by carriers wanting to leverage Mosaic’s underwriting and distribution expertise.
