Chaucer Insurance Company DAC, the Irish subsidiary of Chaucer, has had its credit rating upgraded.

S&P Global said it upgraded the subsidiary’s rating to an A from an A- to better reflect the strength of Chaucer Insurance Company and its parent company China Re’s balance sheets.
