PwC UK pegs Storm Arwen loss at up to £300mn

PwC UK has estimated Storm Arwen will result in up to £300mn ($400mn) of insured losses, with homes, cars and businesses notifying claims.

The storm tore across Scotland and parts of northern England on Saturday night with gusts in excess of 90 mph and sustained windspeeds of more than 60 mph.
