There is now a fast-ticking clock on reporting requirements that will herald a new era of transparency on carriers’ net-zero transitions, and in some cases, preparations are only just beginning.

During COP26, as heads of state were caught nodding off on camera while negotiators scrummaged to secure agreements to phase out, or ‘phase down’ fossil fuels, a train of announcements on incoming obligations came hurtling towards insurers.
