Hiscox has named Donna DeMaio as an independent non-executive director, who will take over as chair of the carrier’s audit committee following the 2022 annual general meeting.

DeMaio, who has more than 35 years’ experience in financial services, was most recently global COO of AIG’s general insurance division.
