Berkshire Hathaway-owned reinsurer Gen Re has established a Middle East office in Dubai, the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has announced.

The reinsurer will provide life and health reinsurance services across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region from the hub, focussing on the United Arab Emirates and other Gulf countries.
