Lancashire buys 55,000 of its shares for just under £284,000

Lancashire Holdings has bought 55,000 of its shares on the London Stock Exchange from Morgan Stanley for just under £284,000 ($315,000), as it progresses a programme to purchase up to one million of its common shares of $0.50 each.

The buyback programme was announced at the carrier’s Q3 trading statement earlier this month, and yesterday the company purchased the 55,000 shares at a total price – including dealing and other associated costs – of £283,838.54.
