Axa bolsters oil and gas exclusions, ups green investment target by EUR1bn

Axa has set out more commitments to stop underwriting certain oil and gas projects, while boosting its green investment target by EUR1bn ($1.2bn) to EUR26bn, in its latest efforts to support the global transition to net zero.

In what it called a milestone for the business, the carrier set out a raft of objectives to curtail and stop completely underwriting and investment activities that fail to meet its conditions to tackle climate change.
