IMF cuts US 2021 growth forecast, notes supply chain and inflation concerns

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has cut its US 2021 growth forecast to 5% from the 6% estimated in its World Economic Outlook report last July.

The IMF also slashed its world growth estimates for this year to 5.9% from 6%, as well as its outlook for other countries, including China (to 8% from 8.1%),
