Lloyd’s carrier Apollo has agreed a $90mn investment by Alchemy Special Opportunities Fund, which it said would support continued growth in its “hybrid model”.

Apollo runs two syndicates – Syndicate 1969 and Syndicate 1971 – but also provides underwriting and syndicate management services for third parties alongside its own balance sheet.
