Everest Re’s Ron Diaz, executive vice president and head of Latin America, Middle East and Africa, is retiring from the business after 30 years, the reinsurer has announced.

Diaz will remain with the company through the end of the year.

Melissa Ford, senior vice president of Middle East and Africa operations, was appointed as interim head of Latin America.
